Dimitropoulos Insurance - Our History

Our journey began in 1975.

Ioannis Dimitropoulos, with an action considered pioneering for his time, founded the first insurance office in Western Messinia, in the beautiful city of Filiatra. With an eye always on the future, he did not limit himself to the usual general insurances. On the contrary, it specialized in hospital and pension plans, offering the residents of Trifylia access to a world of private health that until then was unknown in our region.

We have been working closely with INTERAMERICAN since its first steps, offering its services to our wider audience.

Over the years, our office has developed close relationships with all major and reliable insurance companies in the Greek territory, offering our clients the best possible solutions for their needs.

A pivotal point in our course was our participation in the increase of the share capital of HYDROGEIOS ASFALISTIKI in 1999. By participating in the share capital of the company and in cooperation with the management, we established a new policy for the prices of insurance premiums for agricultural vehicles and machinery, contributing to configuration of the particularly low insurance premiums enjoyed today by the farming sector in Messinia.

In 2014, the sons of Ioannis Dimitropoulos, Konstantinos and Dimitris, following an opposite approach to the trend of the time, invest in the human factor. They are creating two new offices in the cities of Kyparissia and Gargaliana, with the aim of being more accessible to the customer.

Our goal is to transfer the needs of the customer to the companies, making each customer a special being in the eyes of the companies.

Today, we innovate again. We are creating a network of modern insurance offices that provide purely insurance services, with specialized staff that gives entity and physical presence to the insurance sector.
